Compressed Air Precision Filter for Air Treatment Systems

A compressed air precision filter is designed to remove dust, oil, oil mist and other contaminants from compressed air according to the selected filtration grade. The Air Zone SK Series covers flow capacities from 2.5 to 40.2 Nm³/min and is rated at 1.6 MPa. Its die-cast filter housing is made from aviation-grade silicon aluminium alloy, while the pleated filter element is specified as providing two to three times the flow rate of a traditional roll-type element.

Four Filtration Grades for Different Requirements

The SK Series is available in four filtration classes. Class T is intended for main pipeline dust and oil removal, with filtration particle size of ≥1 µm and oil content of ≤1 ppm. Class A provides high-efficiency oil removal and coalescing at ≥0.01 µm and ≤0.01 ppm oil content. Class F is designed for ultra-high-efficiency oil mist elimination at ≥0.01 µm and ≤0.001 ppm, while Class H uses activated carbon filtration for odour, VOC and oil vapour removal at ≥0.01 µm and ≤0.003 ppm oil content.

SK Series Models and Flow Capacity

The compressed air precision filter range includes seven housing sizes to accommodate different compressed air flow requirements. Models start from SK-*-025 at 2.5 Nm³/min with a 1-inch connection and extend to SK-*-400 at 40.2 Nm³/min with a 3-inch connection. Intermediate options include 3.8, 8.5, 12.3, 15.2 and 25.0 Nm³/min models with connection sizes ranging from 1 inch to 2½ inches.

Available Accessories

The product catalogue also lists supporting accessories including a ball-type auto drain, 16-bar auto drain, differential pressure gauge, and flange connections for 2½-inch and 3-inch models. These options allow the filter arrangement to be configured according to the selected housing size and compressed air system requirements.
